TEXAS LONESTAR FOOTBALL CAMP

The camp will be held at Sherman's Fairview Park.

Pre- Registration for campers begins at 8:00am and ends at 9:00am, TBA.

This is a working camp. No Walk-ins.

Camp begins at 9:00am and ends at 2:45pm with 7-on-7 games.

An autograph session will be held from 2:45 till 3:15pm.

Campers will receive a sports drink, and grilled hot dogs for lunch.

Plenty of water will be provided throughout the day for the campers.

We are EXCITED about this year's and next year's camps.

*This year will will be offering our non contact camp again. Athlete's will be grouped by age and ability.

Football Camp is open to ALL Boys & Girls Ages 6-16.

* In 2009, we will be offering two camps. A controlled contact camp and a non-contact camp. You may attend both if you like.

The non-contact camp: football pads are not needed. Please bring Sneakers (cleats if you have them- NO METAL CLEATS), gym shorts, athletic socks, and athletic supporter.

The controlled contact camp: Football pads are needed, or may be rented for $15.00 for the day. These include shoulder pads and helmet. Bring gym shorts, athletic socks (knee high), athletic supporter, Jersey, and mouthpiece.

8:00 – 9:00AM: Registration

9:00 – 9:45AM: Warm Up on Field

Light Sprints, Cals, Stretching

9:45 – 9:55AM: Water Break

9:55 – 10:00AM: Camp Introductions of Clinicians and Assistants

10:00 – 10:10AM: Split group into positions:

Receivers, Running Backs, Lineman, and Gunslingers

10:10-10:40AM: 1^st Offensive Session –

All-Drills, R-Proper Route Running, Qb’s-Proper throwing & Handing off technique, R-Proper Ball Handling, etc.

10:40- Water Break

10:50 – 11:30AM: 2^nd Offensive Session-

Quarterbacks & Receivers together,

Running Backs & Lineman Together

11:30AM – 12:30PM: Lunch & Clean up- Lunch will be provided

12:30- 12:40PM: Split Group into Positions:

Cornerbacks & Safeties, Linebackers, Linemen

12:45 – 1:30PM: 1^st Defensive Session-

All- Drills and Proper Technique, Defensive Terminology

1:30 – 1:40PM: Water Break

1:40- 2:00PM: 2^nd Defensive Session-

Situation Drills, Coverage’s, etc.

2:00 – 2:10PM: Water Break

2:10 – 2:45PM: 7 on 7 Play

2:45 – 3:15PM: Autograph Session and Picture Taking- Best part of the day, many happy faces!
